Plans continue for Sept. 27 Walk to End Alzheimer’s

Plans are being completed for the Sept. 27 Warren County Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease.

At a recent planning meeting, held at the Harbor Church, Warren, reports were given on the progress of the various components of the walk. Promise garden speakers have been confirmed; door prizes are being collected; and, the DJ and the photographer are scheduled. Several vendors will have displays. Molly Reichard, Constituent Events Manager from the Greater PA Chapter office of Alzheimer’s Association in Erie, reported there are now 11teams registered and two new sponsors.

Duties for the walk were outlined and assigned. There is still time to sign up as an individual or to join an existing team. Volunteers are needed as well for the day of the walk, Saturday, Sept. 27, at Betts Park in Warren. Reichard stressed that donations will continue to be accepted after the walk, until Nov. 1.
