‘Fall Into Grace’

“Fall Into Grace,” a tent revival featuring evangelist John Zimmerman, will be held in Sugar Grove Sept. 9, 10 and 11 at 6 p.m. nightly. The event will be held in the field next to Chase Auto (8155 Rt. 957), eight miles from the blinker light at Rt. 62 at 957, Russell. Music will be provided by Mark Hurst and friends. Children’s activities will be available.

Men to breakfast

A men’s breakfast will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at North Warren Presbyterian Church. The breakfast is open to all men of the community, regardless of their faith. Cost is a donation of $3 for breakfast cooked by men from the community. All men are welcome.

Class to lunch

Warren High School Class of 1959 will meet for lunch at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at Cable Hollow Golf Course. Members and guests are welcome.

Win at bridge

Bridge play winners at the Woman’s Club were Connie Michell, first, and Joanne Massa second. At the Thursday evening bridge game at the library, Connie Michell was the winner with Donna Holding second.

Auxiliary to meet

The Warren County Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will have a meeting and tureen dinner Wednesday, Sept. 3, at North Warren Fire Hall, 12 S. State St. A social time is planned at 6 p.m. with dinner and a program to follow.

Card shower

John W. Hummer will celebrate his 90th birthday on Sept. 7. He has impacted many people in the community as a friend, teacher and church member, and the family, would like to have him showered with cards and well wishes on this special occasion.
