meeting Sept. 18
A committee from the graduated 2014 Leadership Warren County class has scheduled a meeting to gather public comment on a three-phase river landing project in downtown Warren. They are proposing a multiple-phase riverfront development to enhance use of downtown by people boating on the Allegheny River and to allow access to the Allegheny directly from downtown.
The meeting will be held Thursday, Sept. 18, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Community Room at Northwest Savings Bank, 305 Second Ave., in downtown Warren. A Powerpoint presentation will begin at 5:30 p.m. with scale drawings and illustrations of the project.
Committee members include Steve Sigmund, William Bussoletti, Mary Hagan-Double, Michelle Williams and Todd Bowersox.
Leadership Warren County is recruiting for its 2014-2015 class. For more information, contact Bowersox at 706-4900.
