Food inspections

Dear editor:

I look forward to the food inspections so I can determine where not to go for my next eat-out meal.

However, I am always surprised when the inspector finds a refrigerator without a thermometer. Unless this is a new eatery, they must have had one or been told to get one in their previous inspection. So where did it go?

Maybe there is a black market for used refrigerator thermometers that we don’t know about.
