Betty Lou Walters, 68, died Monday, August 11, 2014 at 10:30 am in St. Vincent’s Health Center. She was born August 17, 1945 to the late Harry Rudolph and Beatrice Harman.
Betty lived in Clarendon for 52 years and a was lifelong area resident. A former member of Warren Eagles Club Auxiliary, she loved to play cards, bingo and go to the Warren Senior Center.
Betty is survived by her husband of 50 plus years, Thomas E. Walters, whom she married December 10, 1960 in Warren; two sons, Thomas E. Walters, Jr., Warren and Bradley Lee Walters, Clarendon; two daughters, Lori K. McCulla, Florida and Brenda Lee Gibson with husband Duane, Pittsfield; six grandsons, J.T. Walters, Jacob McCulla, Benjamin McCulla, Donald McCulla, Jeremy Baribeau and Jason Baribeau; a granddaughter Yvonne Jo Gibson; a sister Shirley Rudolph, Punxsutawney; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by a sister Carol L. Hollabaugh and a brother Gary Rudolph.
A memorial service will be held at 2:30 pm, Saturday, September 13, 2014, in Warren County Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
