‘Triple Bloom’ planned for October 23
The Warren Garden Club will present its ninth biennial “Triple Bloom” seminar on Thursday, Oct. 23, at the Warren Holiday Inn on Ludlow Street. The day-long event will feature three entertaining and informative speakers.
“Improving Brain Power” will be the topic of Bill Rose’s interactive program on keeping yourself mentally sharp and ahead of the curve. Rose is founder of Mind Power Unlimited, which specializes in improving memory and intelligence for a more productive life. He is recognized for his expertise in the use of memory systems in all aspects of life.
“Dramatic Floral Arrangements” will be demonstrated by Bill Chisnell, owner of Bill Chisnell Productions. He is a premier floral designer and stylist in the strip district of Pittsburgh. Chisnell specializes in weddings and large event decor. He can turn a simple selection of flowers into a unique composition.
“Art of Flowers” will be the title of Dan Ristau’s presentation. Ristau, owner of Dan Van Gogh Flower Company, a floral and gift shop in Warren, represents the garden style in his floral art. His arrangements appear natural in the everyday household.
The $30 ticket will include coffee, tea and pastries upon arrival between 9 and 10 a.m. Lunch will be served by the Holiday Inn at noon. Exciting raffle items and many door prizes will be available for lucky ticket holders to enjoy taking home around 4 p.m.
