Hospice of Warren County opens new office near WGH
As of July 28, Hospice of Warren County has relocated its Main office operations to 1 MAIN AVENUE, on the corner of Main Avenue and Crescent Park, directly across the street from Warren General Hospital.
Since beginning in 1979, Hospice of Warren County has grown from a volunteer-based hospice program to a Medicare-certified program offering a Palliative Care Service, DeFrees Support Program, Grief and Loss Support Services, and the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Residence, 1 of only 4 such residences in Pennsylvania.
Serving more patients and families in many more ways throughout the past 35 years has changed the office flow of staff, patients, families, and supplies. The larger, more residential office space addresses Hospice of Warren County’s value of privacy, storage, and workflow that accommodates the very special needs of patients and families dealing with serious illness, grief, and loss.
Service and day-to-day interaction with Warren General Hospital and the Cancer Care Center should remain seamless, as the new office location is within 500 feet of the old office location within the hospital. Parking along Crescent Park by the river and in the hospital parking ramp remains the same.
Limited driveway parking is also available. The office phone number remains the same at 814-723-2455.
An Open House is being planned for Fall. For more information about our programs and services visit www.hospiceofwarrencounty.com
