Farmers’ Market

Dear editor:

On behalf of the vendors of the Warren Farmers’ Market, we want to thank the community for your continued support and patronage, despite the changes we’ve been forced to make for the 2014 season. We vow to continue to offer a wide variety of direct-from-producer-to-consumer items that are as fresh, wholesome, and varied as possible. Our produce vendors are now bringing to market fresh, locally grown fruit, vegetables, and fresh cut flowers; we encourage more folks to come out and see what this season will yield as it progresses.

We also want to thank Warren Main Street for coming to our aid with the new financial and bureaucratic requirements the city has imposed on us for the first time in 40 years. Our move to Liberty Street was our effort to thank Warren Main Street for their help, and we expect it will be mutually beneficial. For those of you that haven’t yet visited the market, simply come in to the downtown municipal parking lot, park near the corridor where the ‘Santa House’ is, and you’ll have a very short walk into the vendors’ area in the 200 block of Liberty Street.

The heart of the growing season is upon us, and we are eager to have new vendors join us. More information can be seen at We have added the attraction of agricultural-and-horticultural related juried crafts to our offerings, which we know will enhance your shopping experience.

Thanks again to our customers, past, present, and future. Come visit us each week to see what exciting new things are being offered at your “Buy Fresh, Buy Local” Farmers’ Market.
