Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on July 15 at approximately 10 p.m. on Irvine Run Road, 2.5 miles west of Danielson Road. According to police, a 2010 Dodge Journey, driven by Joshua E. Boozer, 28, Youngsville, was traveling south on Irvine Run Road when it drifted off the west edge of the roadway. Police said the vehicle continued to travel approximately 110 feet alongside the roadway over several small trees and brush before hitting a tree. Boozer was not injured, but the vehicle sustained disabling damage.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between 5 p.m. July 6 and 10:30 a.m. July 17 someone intentionally smashed four exterior windows of a camp belonging to Kenneth Hill, 59, Rochester Mills, Pa. Police said damage is estimated at $250. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on July 16 at 8:30 a.m. on Jackson Run Road, west of Creamery Road. Police said an unknown vehicle traveled off the roadway, striking a mailbox and a deer crossing sign. Police said the vehicle continued west without stopping.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that on July 14 at 8 a.m. someone pulled a ‘No Trespassing’ sign off a wooden stake located at a private camp on Shipmans Eddy Road belonging to George E. Jerman, 63, Warren. Damage is estimated at $1.50. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police or the Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Pine Grove Twp.
Access device fraud. Warren-based state police reported that between July 1 and July 12 someone used a credit card belonging to Gregory Charles Larocca, 63, Werner Drive, to make an unauthorized purchase via the internet.
ATV crash. Warren-based state police responded to an ATV accident on July 11 at 12:14 a.m. on Peterson Hollow Road, approximately one mile north of Valentine Run Road. According to police, Andrew James Onoratti, 19, Sugar Grove, failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway, losing control of his 2005 Kawasaki Brute Force. Police said Onoratti and a passenger, Jeb Isaac Fedorchuk, 19, Warren, were thrown from the vehicle as it rolled into a ditch, striking a tree. Both were transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. Police said that thus far in the investigation, it is believed both were under the influence of alcohol and will face appropriate charges as the investigation continues.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on July 21 at 2:30 p.m. on Pleasant Drive at its intersection with Creekwood Drive. According to police, a 2005 Ford Taurus, drive by Thomas A. Lemmon, Warren, was traveling west on Pleasant Drive and a 2010 Chevrolet Aveo, driven by Diana L. Swanson, 52, Jamestown, N.Y., was stopped in the westbound lane while attempting to turn onto Creekwood Drive. Police said Lemmon failed to observe that the other vehicle was stopped and struck Swanson’s vehicle in the rear, causing it to travel 40 feet. Lemmon’s vehicle stopped at the point of impact. Police said Swanson was transported to Warren General Hospital by Pleasant VFD Ambulance with what police described as moderate injuries. Police said Lemmon was cited for driving vehicle at safe speed.
Harassment. Warren-based state police said they have cited three individuals for their roles in a physical altercation in the area of Hunter School Road on July 17 at 5:30 p.m. Carina Tucker, 23, and Elisha Millard, 24, both of Grand Valley, and Tiffany Charlton, 32, Titusville, have all been charged with harassment after. police said, they entered into a physical altercation by striking, shoving and pulling each other’s hair. Police said charges are pending through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.
Spring Creek Twp.
Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between July 7 and July 12 someone went to a camp belonging to a 66-year-old male, Erie, and removed an 18-horsepower, red front-loader from the yard and a small air compressor from the victim’s garage. Sugar Grove Twp.
Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between July 19 at 10 a.m. and July 20 at 10 a.m. someone broke the rear window of a van belonging to a known 29-year-old male and 31-year-old male, Chandlers Valley, with an unknown object. Damage is estimated at $250. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a two-vehicle accident on Big Tree Road, north of Doyle Lane. According to police, an unknown vehicle was traveling north while a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 drive by Thomas M. Osborn, 74, Warren, was traveling south. Police said the unknown vehicle traveled into the oncoming lane, making contact with the left mirror of Osborn’s vehicle. Police said after impact, the unknown vehicle fled the scene traveling north.
Criminal trespass. Warren-based state police reported that between July 11 and July 13 someone entered the Chandlers Valley United Methodist Church through a basement window and then left through the front entrance. Theft. Tidioute Borough police said that Mike Varono, Church Street, reported that a known female took 19 pills of his prescription of hydrocodone between 8:30 and 9 a.m. on July 22. Police said an investigation is underway.
