Eldora J. “Dodie” Westfall, 82, of Buena Vista Blvd., Warren, passed away Tuesday July 15, 2014 at Golden LivingKinzua after a short illness.
She was born August 6, 1931 in Johnsonburg, Pa., a daughter of the late Rex and Bertha (Beck) Wriggle. Eldora was employed for 20 years at Custom Floors and Furniture as a secretary. She was a former member of the Warren American Legion and the Eagles Club. She enjoyed puzzle books, crocheting, playing cards and going to the casino. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are her 3 children; Richard (Linda) Secor of Warren, Mark Hamilton of Bradford, Cora Slack of Warren, a sister Zora Brunner of Ridgeway, 2 brothers Gordon Wriggle of Severna Park, Md., and Paul Wriggle of Tacoma, Wa., her grandchildren, Kiliegh Bees, Joseph Slack, Robert Constable, Lynn Constable Lindstrom, Jason Secor, Jamie Hamilton, Jacob Hamilton, Luke Hamilton, Amber Hamilton Wershel, Ashley Hamilton, Wyatt Twing, and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Lyle Westfall, a son Bryan Hamilton and a brother Rex Wriggle.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, to be announced.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to Hospice of Warren Co., or to the Warren Cancer Center, both at 2 Crescent Park, Warren, Pa. 16365.
