A Warren County man has been arrested and charged with five counts of distribution of child pornography, five counts of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communications facility.

Christian Imperial, 19, 113 Oneida Drive, Warren was arrested on Thursday, July 3 after a three-month investigation into the online sharing and distribution of child pornography by the Pa. State Attorney General’s office.

According to the complaint, agents successfully downloaded files depicting children under the age of 18 engaged in sexually graphic acts and poses. The computer’s internet protocol (IP) address was identified as serving Imperial’s residence.

Agents from the Office of the Attorney General’s Child Predator Section and officers from the City of Warren Police Department searched Imperial’s residence and seized a desktop computer with two hard drives. The computer’s hard drives allegedly contained hundreds of files of child pornography.

Imperial is being held in the Warren County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

The case will be prosecuted in Warren by Deputy Attorney General Anthony Marmo.

The arrest was one of eight unrelated incidents in Pa. as a part of ongoing efforts to target the online sharing, downloading and distribution of child pornography.

Imperial is scheduled for arraignment at the Warren County Courthouse at 9:30 a.m. on July 31.
