Vouchers available

Did you miss getting Farmers Market vouchers? They will be handed out again at the Allegheny Community Center, 42 Clark St., Warren, on July 16 from 1 to 3 p.m. Identification with birth date is required. The vouchers are available to Warren and Forest county residents, age 60 and older who meet income guidelines. The Senior Farmer Market Nutrition Program, made possible through the PA Department of Agriculture, encourages older adults to eat more fresh fruit and vegetables produced by local farmers. To be eligible to receive a $20 voucher, Warren and Forest residents can have a gross income no higher than $21,590 for a single person and $29,101 for a couple.

Warren High School Class of 1952 will go to Perkins Restaurant, Ludlow St., Warren, for breakfast on Thursday, July 17, at 9 a.m. All classmates, spouses and companions are invited.

Transplant support group has picnic

Donor family, transplant candidate or recipient? Join Close to the Heart Transplant Support Group at its annual picnic at 5 p.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Betts Pavilion in Betts Park. Bring a dish to share, beverage and place setting. The group provides emotional support to transplant recipients and candidates and their families, and a place for them and their families to discuss transplant experiences and concerns.

Dinner club to meet

Newton Dinner Club will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 17, at Dutch Treat Restaurant in Spartansburg. Participants should take items to donate to the Titusville Food Bank.

Youngsville High School Class of 1954 will have breakfast at 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, at Richard’s Restaurant in Youngsville.
