Valley softball

Six players had four hits each for Mike’s Townline Service in a Valley Girls Slowpitch Softball League win over Post AmVets on Monday at Betts Park.

Carissa Stuart, Margia Hanson, Ashley VanGelder, Megan Stanton, Desiree Bennett and Savannah Cochran each had four hits in a 21-4 win, and Cochran, Alexis Bevevino and Kellie McClement homered.

Ashley Elms caught a fly ball in left field to end the game with the tying run in scoring position in United Refining’s 11-10 win over Park Ave. Motor Car.
