Clifford N. Dunmire Jr., 60, of Homestead Dr., Youngsville, passed away Monday morning, June 30, 2014 at his residence, of an apparent heart attack.
He was born on December 15, 1953 in New Kensington, Pa., a son of Clifford N. and Sarah (Eckman) Dunmire Sr., who survive him of Youngsville. He was a 1971 graduate of Youngsville High School and then went to work at Corry Rubber Corp. as a laborer, and has been there for the last 43 years. Clifford was a former member of ABATE motorcycle club and he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed traveling and watching tv.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by 2 sons, Jonathan Dunmire of Corry, and Damien Dunmire of Youngsville, a brother, Theodore (Teresa) Dunmire of Corry, 3 sisters, Victoria Swyers of Charlottesville, VA ., Rebecca Dunmire of Altoona, Tammy (Ray) Ellis of Carnegie, Pa. and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded by his wife, Shelia Dunmire, on May 9, 2001, and a brother, Timothy Dunmire.
Friends may call on Wednesday (July 2) for one hour prior to a funeral service that will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the Nelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 314 N. Main St. in Youngsville, with the Rev. Kathy Thompson, pastor of the Youngsville Free Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Riverside Cemetery.
