Monday Night Movies at the Warren Public Library will continue June 30. This free event will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Slater Room on the third floor of the library. Complimentary popcorn will be available. This week’s PG-13 rated, 90 minute film stars Kit Harington, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Paz Vega, Jessica Lucas, Kiefer Sutherland and Carrie-Anne Moss. Set in 79 A.D., this film tells the epic story of Milo, a slave turned invincible gladiator who finds himself in a race against time to save his true love Cassia, the beautiful daughter of a wealthy merchant who has been unwillingly betrothed to a corrupt Roman Senator. As Mount Vesuvius erupts in a torrent of blazing lava, Milo must fight his way out of the arena in order to save his beloved as the once magnificent Pompeii crumbles around him. Call the library at 723-4650 for the exact title of this and other movies in this series as the library’s movie license does not permit listing the titles of movies outside the library.
