DAR announces Good Citizens

The General Joseph Warren Chapter of the DAR is pleased to announce the Good Citizens for Warren and Forest County High Schools. The DAR Good Citizen Award is presented to a high school senior that has demonstrated the qualities of a Good Citizen. Each high school is asked to select a senior that possesses the Good Citizen qualities that include dependability, leadership, patriotism and service.

In honor of the Good Citizens, the DAR has taken on the project of planting trees in Crescent Park.

The DAR Good Citizen Award was presented to the following students:

Jessica McCool of Eisenhower High School, daughter of John and Lori McCool; Samantha Tome of Youngsville High School, daughter of Kevin and Heather Tome; Zarah Pratz of Sheffield High School, daughter of James Pratz and Chasity Prine; Karly Taylor of Warren Area High School, daughter of Scott and Pamela Taylor; Stephanie Burris of Tidioute Community Charter School, daughter of Robert and Mary Jane Burris; Jennifer McLaughlin of East Forest High School, daughter of Daniel and Christine McLaughlin; and Blake Mealy of West Forest High School, son of Merle and Lisa Mealy.
