Sugar Grove Library part of summer lunch program
Sugar Grove is on board with the Summer Food Service Program.
Children 18 years old and younger will be able to enjoy free lunches Monday through Friday between noon and 1 p.m. at Sugar Grove Free Library starting Monday, June 16.
The site is the sixth in the county announced recently.
The Warren County School District has two locations – Youngsville Elementary Middle School and Warren Area Elementary Center – both offering breakfast and lunch. Breakfast at YEMS is available from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. At WAEC, breakfast runs from 8 to 9 a.m. Both schools will offer lunch from 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The City of Warren is providing lunches to children participating in its summer playground program at Beaty, Crescent, and Lacy playgrounds. The brown bag lunches will be available from noon to 1 p.m.
At all locations, children are expected to eat their meals on site and clean up after themselves.
The costs of the program will be reimbursed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
