Win at bridge

Winners in Monday evening duplicate bridge game at the YMCA were Matt Oram and Doug Megill, first with 45.5; Joann Hultquist and Connie Michell, second with 43.5; and Beth Howe and Carol Lake, third with 37.5.

Clarendon day Saturday

Clarendon Day, with sales throughout town, will be held this Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. – ? with food at the fire hall.

Bariatric support offered

Warren’s Bariatric Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Monday, June 16, in Conference Room A at Warren General Hospital. This group is open to anyone who has had or is considering weightloss surgery.

Flea market

The Ladies Auxiliary to Marshall Larsen VFW Post 314, Clarendon, will have a flea market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at the VFW Pavilion on Brown Ave., Clarendon. Proceeds will benefit the auxiliary relief fund, which can only be used to benefit a veteran or a veteran cause.

Walk committee to meet

The June planning committee meeting for the 2014 Warren County Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease will be held at noon Tuesday, June 17, at the Harbor Church, 135 Conewango Ave. Lunch will be provided. Final plans will be made for the launch party “Purple Rain – Together We Can Weather the Storm” to be held on Thursday, June 26 at Perkins Restaurant from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. All persons interested in the walk, including team captains, individual walkers, and those who want to volunteer on walk day should attend to sign up and/or gather materials.
