Warren Fence Company’s Brady Berdine had a double and would have had another extra-base hit had American Legion’s Tommy Jukes not snagged a low line drive at his shoe tops in deep left-center Friday in a coach pitch game.
Jukes’ catch ended a close game with the bases loaded, highlighting the defense for Legion. Teammate Carson Chase had three assists in one inning in the infield for American Legion, and Ryan Egger had a couple nice plays at third base for Warren Fence Company. Trentin Anthony played well on the mound for Warren Fence.
Mitch Grosch had two hits in A& Heating’s Boys Majors win. Hunter Feeny had a spectacular defensive game for the Heaters, which finished the regular season 13-0.
