June is a busy month for outside chores. Joe is busy planting, pruning mowing and more. If you see Joe please thank him for making our center beautiful on the outside.
Brandon Johnston was honored with a monetary gift for outstanding social studies for his senior year.
Sheffield Days is June 7 so visit the center for our oldies but goodies sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you have donations we will pick up for you by calling 968-5667.
Senior Games will be June 18 at Betts Park and transportation is available.
Thursday, June 26, will be our first picnic here at the center. Remember to take a wrapped gift to auction off.

ACC is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. M-F with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Mon. & Wed. ACC is closed for all activities and meals on legal holidays and on those days when Warren County schools are closed unexpectedly due to bad weather. Hot lunches or light alternative lunches are available Monday-Friday at noon. You can call your reservation to 723-3237. Bistro lunch is available on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with no reservation required. Take-outs available.
The Warren-Forest Area Agency on Aging will serve the following menu at Allegheny Community Center and other Warren-Forest centers June 9-13: stuffed pepper Monday; chicken ceasar salad Tuesday; barbecued ham sandwish Wednesday; ham Thursday; and relish tray, salad and sandwiches Friday. Locations at Marienville, Sheffield, Tidioute and Endeavor will serve menus from Monday, Tuesday and Friday for the three-day sites. Eligible participation is 60 years and older with a suggested donation of $3. Call 723-3763 for information regarding congregate meal sites or center locations. Menu is subject to change based on availability.
