Golf results

Rick Nasman and Tom Walker were the top team with 64.5 points on Tuesday in the Cable Hollow 2-Man League. Paul Bell and Jim Caronia finished second at 64, and Dana Williams and Bob Slagle third at 63. Williams had low gross of 38 and low net of 31 individually.

With a low score of 30, the team of Dave Andersen and Tom Jones led the Peterson-Blick Scratch League at Blueberry Hill. The team of Tim Swanson and Ken Sumner shot a 35 and Lou Chiodo and Jim Dombeck 36.

Tony Pellegrino had the low gross of 36, and Marty Grove the low net of 29, on Thursday, May 22, at Blueberry Hill.

The team of Bob Orbanic and Richard Schuler are top team at 28.5 points, the teams of Bob Hunter and Mark Kulka and Robin Copley and Jamie Steffan tied for second at 27.5, and Chester Imhoff and Craig Johnson fourth at 26.5.

Lana Creal had the nine-hole low gross of 42, and Gerry Africa the low net of 30, on Tuesday in the Conewango Valley Country Club Ladies Tuesday Golf League.

Ron Brown and Beitsinger each shot two birdies, and Toot Dyer, Ray Adams, Gene Sanden, Bill “Oby” Young and Dr. Bill Young had one each.

Maurice Bennett and Sonia Probst had the low gross round of 34 on Friday in the Cable Hollow Couples League.

The team of Don Anderson and JoAnn Anderson lead the points standings with 9.0, Bennett and Probst are second at 7.5, and Dave Bortz and Rose Bortz third at 6.0.

Legion baseball

The Youngsville Post 658 and Sugar Grove Post 758 Senior American Legion Baseball League teams will be combined into one Warren County American Legion Baseball League team this season. Ike Blue-Gold

The 10th Annual Eisenhower Football Blue-Gold Spring Game will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Eisenhower High School. The game pits the 2014 seniors and freshmen against the juniors and sophomores in a flag football game to end the week’s Spring Football Mini-Camp. The game is free to the public and concessions will be open.

Jr. Legion

Post 135 defeated Corry, 13-10, in junior legion baseball action Wednesday at The Ballpark in Columbus. Seth Baldensperger doubled home three runs in the top of the fifth inning, and finished with four RBI on the day. Adam Irwin drove in three runs and Colby Johnson earned the win on the mound.

Youth football camp

The 10th Annual Northern Area Youth Football Camp is scheduled for June 16-19 at Eisenhower High School.

The American Legion 758 Northern Area youth camp is for any youngster ages 8-12 who would like to learn basic skills for the game of football. Passing, catching, rushing, blocking and tacking form, as well as building teamwork skills, will be highlighted. A Punt, Pass, Kick championship for senior and junior level divisions will be held, as well as a 7-on-7 passing tournament.

The camp is overseen by the EHS football staff, and the EHS football team works to help teach the campers.
