Programs planned

21st Century Community Learning Center (After-School and) Summer Programs for students entering grades three through six will be held from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. June 12 through July 25. The free summer program will run at two different sites within Warren County School District Youngsville Elementary Middle School and Warren Area Elementary Center. Breakfast and lunch will be provided; lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

Students will have opportunities to work with various learning activities and learning stations, have fine arts enrichment, and time for physical education activities each day. The goal of the summer program is to help students retain the skills they learned this year in addition to learning something new through fine arts enrichment and project based learning. Transportation will be provided for students who want to attend. A busing schedule has been designed to pick up students at various locations throughout the surrounding communities.

Parents can register their students by contacting Christine Haslett at 723-6903, ext. 1038, or at haslettc@wcsdpa.org as soon as possible.

Cost of the program is provided by a grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Education. There will be no program June 30 through July 4.
