Chautauqua trap

Chautauqua County Trap League results for this week included Busti beating Randolph, 346-342, and; Celoron downing Carroll, 343-328.

Perfect 50’s were shot by Dalton Becker, who was High Sub Junior; Howard Lindstrom; Red Clark, who was High Senior Vet; George Kirin, who had his first 50 straight; Scott McKotch; Kirk Decker, and; Tiffany Decker, who was High Lady. Ben Paddock was High Junior with a 48, Bob Faga High Vet at 49, and Howard Arnold High Super Senior Vet at 49.

CELORON (343): Dalton Becker and Howard Lindstrom, 50, Dennis Spoon, Bob Faga and Kevin Sturzenbecker, 49, Dave Kingsley and Rich Foster, 48.

Golf results

Chris Patric and Dustin Carlson won the 17th annual Memorial Day Weekend Member-Member Golf Tournament this weekend at Conewango Valley Country Club. In a modified Stableford scoring system, with 14 teams, the team earned 53 points over the two days of net better ball. Joe Nelson and Mike Onoratti finished second at 48 points, and Bill Schuver and Mike Barber third at 46.

Joanne Massa finished first and Peggy Morgan second last week in the Warren Bridge Club results.

Marathon results

Several area women completed the Cleveland Marathon (clevelandmarathon.com) on Sunday, May 17, including: Youngsville’s Kris Sowa, who finished in ninth out of 125 in the female 40-44 age group in a time of 3:44.24. In her personal-best time, she qualified for the Boston Marathon in 2015.

Warren’s Leah Egner was 20th out of 146 in the female 35-39 age group in 3:46.06; Warren’s Jessica Heeter was in the top 50 out of 192 in the female 30-34 age group in 3:59.14, and; Warren’s Kelly Newton in the top 50 of the female 35-39 age group on 4:08.33.

In addition, Sugar Grove’s Allison Clark finished the Cleveland Half-Marathon in 3:12.46.
