Helen K Perry, 84, of Main Street, Tidioute, Pa., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 24, 2014.
Helen was born November 15, 1929 in Warren, PA, the daughter of the late David and Dorothy (Bauer) Kane. Helen was a lifelong area resident and a 1948 graduate of the Tidioute High School. She was employed by the Blair Corp. as an Assistant Supervisor, from which she retired.
She was a member of the Tidioute Baptist Church and a former member of the Warren Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Helen had spent her winters in Florida where she had taken up and enjoyed golfing. She also enjoyed playing cards, and earlier enjoyed camping, boating and water skiing. She was also active at the Tidioute Senior Center. Helen loved her family, her friends, her church, and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Roseanna Nicholson and her husband Ken, of Tidioute, PA; a son, Jeffrey Barton, of Irvine, PA; a step daughter, Christie Perry, of Grantville, PA; a brother, Charles “Chuck” Kane, of Pleasantville, PA; six grandchildren, seven greatgrandchildren; a great grandson on the way; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Paul M. Barton, in 1975, her second husband, Seth H. Perry, in 2001; two sisters, Hazel McKee and Betty Littlefield; and two brothers, Eugene and David Kane.
Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home Inc., 1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA. 16365 on Tuesday, May 27, from 58 p.m.
The funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 28, at the Tidioute Baptist Church, Main Street, Tidioute, PA. with Michael Stone, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Swedish Union Cemetery.
