Garden sale May 31

Penn State Extension Master Gardeners Warren County will have their annual Plant Sale and Garden Flea Market Saturday, May 31, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Joseph H. Defrees Pavilion at Betts Park in Warren. There will be a large selection of perennials, annuals, vegetables and herbs. Master Gardeners will be on site to answer your planting questions. There will also be a Garden Flea Market with a wide selection of items to use in the yard and garden areas. Unique planters and garden tools are a few of the items you will be able to purchase. And, for the first time this year, there will be a few mini classes during the plant sale to help your plants grow and thrive.

Fashion Flaunt fundraiser

“Bridal Beauty” will be the topic of this year’s Fashion Flaunt fund-raiser for the Wilder Museum. The event will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at the Wilder Museum of Warren County History, 51 Erie Ave., Irvine. See a unique fashion show featuring bridal gowns from years, decades, and centuries past. Refreshments, Auction of the Purses, and more will be held. Cost will be a donation.
