Roy Swanson had the nine-hole low gross of 35, and Sherm McKown the low net of 28, on Thursday, May 15, in the Warren County Industrial Golf League at Blueberry Hill Golf Course.

Co-ed softball

Due to flooding, Betts Park is closed until further notice, which means the Friday Night Co-ed Softball League games for Friday have been postponed.

County trap

Pine Grove and Sugar Grove II battled to a 341-341 tie in Week 2 of the Warren County Trap League. In other action, Kalbfus defeated Corry, 340-333; Tidioute beat Sheffield, 340-327, and; Brokenstraw outshot Sugar Grove I, 334-329. Perfect 50’s were shot by Dennis Spoon (PG), Reed Johnson (SGII), Jamie Morton (COR), Ed Pennington (TID), and Curt Hollabaugh (BKS). Todd Steele (COR) had his first 25 straight.

Ray Lee, Bob Faga, Ken Anderson and Denny Joy each shot 49’s to tie for high vet; Tom Sleeman and Dave Kingsley each shot 47 for high senior vet; Ralph Challingsworth and Jack Kostkas shot 48 each for high super senior vet; Taylor Hanson was high lady at 49; Jacob Nugent high junior at 49, and; Logan Muir high sub junior at 48.
