Art sale will aid Warren Library

The Warren Art League is holding a show featuring artworks by its members from May 19 through May 30 at the Warren Public Library.

Fifteen artists are exhibiting art ranging from pencil drawings, watercolors and multi-media pieces to fused glass and wire sculpture, according to Barb Kersey, Art League member.

The artworks may be viewed during regular library hours in the Wetmore Gallery.

“Most of the art is for sale, and each sale will result in 15 percent commission to the library,” she said. “(It’s) a good way to raise funds for the library. Anyone who buys a piece is asked to leave it until Saturday, May 30 when the show comes down.”
