Our kitchen band is starting to play at our local nursing home and assisted living facilities. The ladies would love to have more members so if you are interested in this rewarding volunteer service please give us a call.
Memorial day program is scheduled for May 22 with Jim Cheronis as guest speaker.
RSVP greenhouse volunteers will be here toward the end of May to sell vegetable plants at a reasonable price.
Sheffield music boosters are holding a fundraiser on June 14 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. to help anyone with disposal of old TV’s or electronic device.
Farmer’s market vouchers will be available on June 2 from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Sheffield days will be June 7 and we will be having our Oldies & Goodies sale. You can drop off donations or call and we will pick them up.

There will be blood sugar testing at ACC by Nancy Mague, Diabetes Coordinator from Warren General Hospital, on Tuesday, May 20, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. No fasting necessary! No charge! Public welcome.
A new Trash & Treasure bingo will be played on Fridays from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. starting Friday, May 23, in the ACC dining room. No cost to play! Everyone welcome.
ACC is open from 8:30 a.m. until 4 p.m. Monday through Friday with extended hours until 7 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. ACC is closed for all activities and meals on legal holidays and on those days when Warren County schools are closed unexpectedly due to bad weather. Hot lunches or light alternative lunches are available Monday-Friday at noon. You can call your reservation to 723-3237. Bistro lunch is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. with no reservation required. Take-outs available.
The Warren-Forest Area Agency on Aging will serve the following menu at Allegheny Community Center and other Warren-Forest centers May 19-23: taco salad Monday; lasagna Tuesday; meatloaf Wednesday; sloppy joe Thursday; and soup, salad and sandwiches Friday. Locations at Marienville, Sheffield, Tidioute and Endeavor will serve menus from Monday, Tuesday and Friday for the three-day sites. Eligible participation is 60 years and older with a suggested donation of $3. Call 723-3763 for information regarding congregate meal sites or center locations. Menu is subject to change based on availability.
