The Egypt Hollow bridge over Widdlefield Run in Pine Grove Township will close on Thursday, May 22, for replacement. The bridge will reopen in July.
Sheriff’s Office to
The Warren County Sheriff’s Office today announced that they will be participating in seat-belt enforcement activities as part of the national Click It or Ticket seat-belt enforcement mobilization from May 19 to June 8. PennDOT data for 2013 shows that 425 individuals who were killed in crashes were not wearing their seat belt.
Bike trail comments
The public comment period for the Jakes Rocks Mountain Bike Trail Project is open.
Comments about the proposed 46.2-mile long system along the western shore of the Kinzua Arm of Allegheny Reservoir in Mead Township, Warren County, and Hamilton Township, McKean County, may be submitted by mail to: Jakes Rocks Epic Mountain Bike Trail, ATTN: Macario Herrera, District Ranger, USDA Forest Service, Bradford Ranger District, 29 Forest Drive, Bradford, PA 16701; by phone at (814) 362-4613; by fax at (814) 362-2761; and by email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Email comments should include the project name in the subject line and the sender’s name and mailing address.
Comments may be submitted through June 3.

On Tuesday, May 20, the Friends of Toby Anderson Campaign Committee will host an Election Watch Party at Vita Bella Restaurant, 340 Pennsylvania Ave. W. in Warren. The event is nonpartisan, open to the public and will offer food, refreshments, updated election results using projection equipment and a meet-and-greet with the candidate.
