A “Ride to Find ‘Em Poker Run” to benefit scholarship funds in the memory of Damien Sharp and Lori Bova will be held on Saturday June 7, beginning in Celoron, N.Y.

The 85-mile scenic ride will first travel to the Sugar Grove AMVETS; then to Christys’ Pub in Warren; to The Horseshoe Inn, Onoville, N.Y.; the Pad in Kennedy, N.Y.; and finally back to the Celoron Rib Fest.

All the stops will be bike-parking friendly, and there will be children-friendly activities at the rib fest. There will also be gifts for the first 50 registrants.

The ride is sponsored by the Community United Effort (CUE), a non-profit organization dedicated to finding missing persons, and offering support to their families and investigators.

Registration may be completed at the CUE booth at the rib fest on June 4-6 or from 9 to 11 a.m. on the day of the ride. The first bike will leave at 11 a.m., and the last at 11:45 a.m. A 50/50 drawing will be held at 10 p.m. on June 7.

Riders will draw a card from each stop, and both low and high hands win.

The benefiting scholarships are for the Warren County and Lakewood YMCAs.

Bova has been listed as an Endangered Missing Adult since June 7, 1997 and Sharp as Homicide/Missing since May 25, 2002.
