Georgia A. (Sager) Stewart, 70, of The Villages, FL., passed away into the next life March 29, 2013 at The Villages Regional Hospital after a brief illness. She was born September 14, 1943 in Oil City, Pa. to the late Arthur and Betty Brewster Sager. She was a 1961 graduate of West Forest High School, Tionesta, Pa., also graduating from The Presbyterian University School of Nursing in Pittsburgh, Pa. and River College in Nashua, NH.
As an RN and later a Case Manager, she gave excellent care for many people and made significant contributions to the lives of persons with HIV/AIDS. Known as a skillful crafter, she enjoyed playing cards, reading, her parrot and her retirement.
She is survived by two daughters, Larissa Graff of Atlanta, Ga. and Wendy Clark of Memphis, Tn. and three grandsons. She is also survived by a brother Arthur Sager, Jr. (Beverly) of Russell, Pa. and a sisterinlaw Faith Sager of Tionesta, Pa. Also surviving are two nephews, Brian Sager of Russell and Shawn Sager of Pittsburgh, Pa. and one niece Kati Sager of Tionesta.
In addition to her parents, she was preceeded in death by a brother David N. Sager, on November 4, 2013.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Tionesta Public Library, or the American Cancer Society in her honor.
