Several Eisenhower jr. high track athletes placed at the recent 20-team Johnsonburg Invitational, including:
Willie Hoffman, Troy Meyers, Carter Knapp and Jonah Samuelson, who had a person-best time in the 4×100 relay in 52.5 seconds; the 4×400 relay of Hoffman, Meyers, Curtis Ruland and Sam Holt, sixth in 4:34; Knapp, sixth in high jump in 4-6; Meyers fourth in 400 in 1:01; Smauelson, fourth in 300 hurdles in 50.4 seconds, and; Hoffman, second in pole vault in 8-6.
Jr. high track
The Warren Sports Boosters is holding a benefit sporting clays shoot from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Kalbfus Club to benefit the sports boosters scholarship fund.
