Theresa Marie (Crull) Coan Gleason, 86, of Indian Camp Run Rd. in Youngsville, passed away Wednesday April 30, 2014 at the Rouse Warren Co. Home.

She was born March 8, 1928 in Warren, Pa., a daughter of the late Ernest Raymond and Carrie (Lawson) Crull. She was a 1946 WAHS graduate and had been employed with the Blair Corp. for 25 years, retiring in 1988. Theresa was an elder of the Irvine Presbyterian Church, where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the Woman’s group. She was also a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Youngsville. Theresa enjoyed cooking, sewing, playing cards, square dancing, traveling and wintering in Florida for many years.

She is survived by her loving husband Walter Gleason, whom she married June 20, 1981 in Irvine, 2 daughters; Donna (Howard) Gaston of Barnet, VT, Diane (Dennis) Perkins of Lottsville, a son; Terry (Tina) Coan of Youngsville, 2 step sons; Rodney (Ellen) Gleason of Waterford and Ronald Gleason of Erie, her grandchildren; Amy, Tracy and Benjamin Perkins, Sandra (Nick) Perrine, Rebecca and John Gaston, Felicia (Deon) Myers, Nicholas and Nathan Coan, 3 great grandchildren; Destinee, Faith and Hope Myers, a niece; Rebecca (Dennis) Cedrone of Lander, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Donald Coan in 1969, a brother, Raymond “Tom” Crull, a sisterinlaw, Evelyn Crull and a nephew, Richard Crull.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery in Starbrick.

The family has suggested memorial donations be made to the Irvine Presbyterian Church Building Fund, National Forge Rd. Irvine, Pa. 16329 or to Hospice of Warren Co., 2 Crescent Park, Warren, Pa. 16365.
