Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police said Jonathan R. Stewart, 25, Warren, was pumping oil into plastic oil tanks along his lease when he started the first pump and left. The pump was on fire when he returned. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Conewango Twp.

Harassment. Warren-based state police said George T. Hyde, 58, 33 Main Dr., Warren, allegedly attempted to strike a Warren State Hospital staff member causing the victim to fall onto the floor. Police said Hyde will answer the charge before District Justice Laura Bauer.

Mead Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police said Richard A. Perry, Jr., 25, Warren, was cited with roadways laned for traffic after a one-vehicle crash on Route 6 at 2:40 a.m. Sunday, approximately six-tenths miles west of Dutchman Run Road. Police said the crash occurred as Perry was westbound in a 2004 Subaru Forrester and struck a guide rail and continued along it for 20 feet before traveling back across both lanes and striking the embankment off the eastern berm. Police said the vehicle spun in a counter clockwise direction and struck the embankment again and overturned several times before coming to a rest on its roof. Police said Perry suffered a minor injury. A passenger suffered a moderate head injury and another passenger suffered moderate left hand and arm injury as a result of the crash.

Pleasant Twp.

Theft of a motor vehicle. Warren-based state police said an incident of theft of a motor vehicle occurred at a private residence between April 25 and 26. According to police, someone removed a 2008 Can-Am Outlander XT 650 4X4 from the victim’s carport. The ATV is described as red in color, has a K&N sticker on it with front and rear racks and a winch. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Sugar Grove

Statutory sexual assault. Warren-based state police said a 17-year-old male was charged with statutory sexual assault and indecent assault after a 13-year-old female victim agreed to engage in sexual intercourse. Due to the victim’s age, the state police were made aware and an investigation began. Police said the 17-year-old male was charged through a juvenile petition at the Warren County Juvenile Probation Department.
