Dear editor:

Roads and their condition, clearly, are getting a lot of attention from both PENNDOT and the public. Yesterday (4/24/14) I had the need to drive to Erie. On route 6, from about the Warren County Fairgrounds to just beyond the Log Cabin restaurant, we couldn’t find an alarming “pot hole” – both going and returning.

It was a smooth drive. Surely that section of highway was exposed to this past harsh winter too – what most blame for the present road conditions.

Someone might want to look into when it was paved, how it was paved and what contractor paved it as they sure did a fine job.
