Wolverines fall to 2-2

Sheffield is 2-2 after a 10-4 loss to visiting West Forest on Wednesday, and now plays six games in the next six days starting with a doubleheader against Curwensville Thursday.

“Kameron Orinko reached base safely in three at-bats,” said Sheffield coach Glenn Baldensperger. “One thing we’re working on is trying to see a lot of pitches and, as a team, we did a very good job of that. Claire (Pierson) threw well; we just have to play better defense behind her.”
