On Monday, Hunter Loomis and Ryan Arnold combined for 14 strikeouts, Andrew Beyer was 3-for-3 and Arnold added two hits, including a home run, in Betts’ Boys Majors win over Peterson-Blick.

Zach Rohlin and Ben Salapek combined for 16 K’s on the mound, and James Swanson had two hits. Alex Borger homered in the loss.

In a Girls Majors pitchers’ duel on Tuesday, Kelsey Stuart struck out 12 and allowed just three hits over six innings in a 3-2 win for Pennsylvania Kinzua Pathways. Jordan Sitler struck out seven and walked two over 5 1/3 innings for Dairy Delite.

Emily Darts’ game-winning RBI double, knocking in Gracie Wood, in the bottom of the sixth capped PKP’s comeback. Alexis Nyquist had two hits, including a triple, and Ellie Lobdell also tripled for Dairy Delite.

Curt Darling, Gannon Jacquay, and Zane Alexander each scored two runs for the Eagles Club in a 9-4 Boys Minors win.

Jacob Stearns was the winning pitcher in a game that saw just 10 combined hits.
