Alzheimer’s Walk being planned

The second planning meeting for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Disease will be held at noon Thursday, April 24, at the Harbor Church, 135 Conewango Ave., Warren. Laurie Sheriff, Walk co-chairperson from Warren, and Abby Witham, constituent events manager from the Erie Alzheimer’s Office, will be available for questions regarding the walk. Packets will be distributed for those participating as a team or as individuals. Sponsor packets are available; sponsor commitment forms must be returned by April 30 in order for the sponsor’s name to appear on posters and T-shirts. Fundraising materials and suggestions will be discussed. Those interested in this event as volunteers or as participants are encouraged to attend this meeting. Many volunteers are needed (other than walkers), to make this event a success. Bring a bag lunch, if desired, and join the committee for this important meeting. For more information, contact Sheriff at 726-0820.

This class is limited to the first 16 people who register at the main desk in the library. There must be a minimum of eight paid registrants for the class to go forward.
