Here is the varsity slate of action for county high school sports teams for Thursday, April 16, through Saturday, April 19:

THURSDAY’S SCHEDULE

Baseball: Girard at Warren, 4 p.m.

Youngsville at Franklin, 4 p.m.

Eisenhower at Iroquois, 4 p.m.

Softball: Strong Vincent, Jamestown (N.Y.) at Warren, 1:30 p.m. (Jamestown to follow Strong Vincent)

Youngsville at Eisenhower, 4 p.m.

Boys Tennis: Titusville, Rocky Grove at Warren (DH), 1 p.m.

Track: Eisenhower at Johnsonburg, 4 p.m.

FRIDAY’S SCHEDULE

SATURDAY’S SCHEDULE

Softball: Corry at Warren, noon

Mercyhurst Prep at Eisenhower, 1 p.m.

Rescheduled

The Strong Vincent at Warren softball game scheduled for Wednesday was postponed and will be made up as part of a Warren doubleheader on Thursday. The Strong Vincent at Warren game will begin at 1:30 p.m. with Jamestown (N.Y.) at Warren to follow.

The Eisenhower at Iroquois baseball game scheduled for Wednesday was postponed to Thursday at Iroquois.

The Mercyhurst Prep at Eisenhower game is now rescheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Werner Park in Russell.

The Youngsville at Eisenhower softball game scheduled for Wednesday was postponed and rescheduled for Thursday at Eisenhower High School.

The Union City at Eisenhower game has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 26, at Eisenhower High School.

The Youngsville at Franklin region baseball game scheduled for Wednesday was postponed and rescheduled for Thursday. The Eagles’ non-region game at Northwestern scheduled for Thursday will get bumped to a later date, which has not been announced.

Canceled

The Warren County Junior High Track Meet scheduled for Wednesday at Sheffield High School was postponed and will not be made up.

Baseball clinic

The 3rd Annual Dragon Baseball Prospect Clinic, with special guest Tom Tellmann, Warren-native and former Major League pitcher, as well as WAHS varsity players and coaches, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 4, at Old Legion Field in North Warren (Dragons home field).

Sessions will include: Pitching, Throwing and Fielding from 1 to 2:15 p.m., and Hitting from 2:30 to 3:45 p.m. The cost is $20 per session per player, or $35 for both sessions, which benefits the WAHS Baseball Boosters. To register, by April 23 for a t-shirt, make checks payable to WAHS Baseball Boosters, 348 E, Fifth Ave., Warren, Pa. 16365.
