Schedule changes

Tuesday’s track meet between Youngsville and Eisenhower was postponed due to weather, and will be made up on Monday, May 12 at Eisenhower High School.

Eisenhower’s softball game at Rocky Grove scheduled for Tuesday was postponed. A make-up date has not yet been announced.

Warren’s baseball game against Girard was postponed and will be made up Thursday, April 17 at Old Legion Field in North Warren. The game against Meadville originally scheduled for Thursday will be moved to another date.

Warren’s non-region baseball game against Jamestown, originally scheduled for Monday, April 21, has been rescheduled due to a conflict with Jamestown’s region schedule. The varsity game will be Tuesday, May 13 and JV will be Friday, May 16. Both games are to begin at 4 p.m. at Old Legion Field in North Warren.

The Erie East at Warren softball doubleheader was postponed and will be made up on Tuesday, April 22 at Hawbaker Field in North Warren. The first game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.

The Warren at Franklin track meet was postponed and will be made up on Wednesday, April 16 at 4 p.m.

Warren’s home tennis match against Titusville was postponed and will be made up as part of a doubleheader Thursday at Betts Park. Warren and Titusville will play at 1 p.m. with Warren vs. Rocky Grove to follow at around 3:30.

The Youngsville at Titusville softball game has been postponed. A make-up date has not yet been announced.

The Elk County Catholic at Sheffield softball game postponed on Monday will be made up at 4 p.m. Wednesday, April 30, at Sheffield High School.

The Sheffield at Youngsville game that was already scheduled for that day has been moved ahead to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 26, at Youngsville High School.

The Otto-Eldred and Port Allegany at Sheffield track meet postponed on Tuesday has been rescheduled for 4 p.m. Monday, April 28, at Sheffield High School.

50-mile Ultra

Warren County-native Devon Olson finished first out of 45 runners that completed the Glacier Ridge Trail Ultra 50-miler at Moraine State Park in Butler County, Pa. Olson finished in 8 hours, 14 minutes and 23.5 seconds, or just over three minutes ahead of the second-place finisher.

Olson, 25, of North Braddock, Pa., also won a 70-mile race in Pa. last year, and completed a 100-mile race.
