Class to lunch
Warren High School Class of 1946 will have lunch at noon Tuesday, April 15, at the Conewango Club, Market St., Warren.
K of C to meet
The Warren Knights of Columbus will meet at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at the Cataldo’s Barn in North Warren. All members are welcome.
Craft instructor Meg Robeson invites adults, teens and tweens accompanied by an adult to join her in the creation of a painted clay pot and watercolor stamped card on Saturday, April 26, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Each participant will receive a clay pot which they will paint with milk paint, let it partially dry and then “distress” it with sand paper or painter’s tape. A second project will be stamping to achieve a watercolor effect. Participants will leave after two hours with a perfect Mother’s Day gift. A $5 non-refundable material’s fee is due when registering. This class is limited to the first 16 people who register at the main desk in the library. There must be a minimum of eight paid registrants for the class to go forward. Two parties in Grand Valley
Grand Valley Volunteer Fire Department will have a Spring Turkey Party Saturday, April 12, a tthe fire hall. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and raffles will begin at 6:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased from fire personnel or at the door. A Spring Auction also will be held at the fire hall beginning at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19. The kitchen will be open. The public is invited to come and see what is new for the season.
The Grand Valley Desperados will host an Egg Hunt for children age 12 and younger at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 13, at the Grand Valley Fire Hall. For information, call Connie Tenney at 827 9462.
