Drill at School
The Tidioute Community Charter School held an interior intruder drill recently and invited the Pennsylvania State Police and Tidioute Borough Police to take part in the practice.
Sgt. Eric McKean with the Warren-based state police said, ” The Tidioute drill proved very informative and we hope to do a larger scale team drill in the fall. Drills like the one today at TCCS remind us of the need to practice for very unique security situations.”
“It is important to have law enforcement visible in schools,” said Tidioute police officer Steve Vincent.
During the drill, a fake intruder entered TCCS and the police handled his capture.
“Students were exemplary during this drill,” said Doug Allen, TCCS CEO.
