Cherry Grove Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police said on April 3, at 2:20 p.m. on Minister Road six tenths of a mile south of Hearts Content Road, Jarrod J. Roberts, 23, Titusville, and Scott Hutchinson, 19, Centerville, were both working for a tree trimming service. Hutchinson was standing at the rear of a parked pickup truck refueling a saw. Roberts was approaching the rear of a parked vehicle when his foot slipped off of the brake and hit the accelerator. The front of Robert’s vehicle struck Hutchinson and the parked vehicle, pinning Hutchinson between the two vehicles. Hutchinson was transported to Warren General Hospital by Sheffield Ambulance with moderate leg injuries. Police said Roberts will be cited for careless driving.

Farmington Twp.

Drugs. Warren-based state police said on April 3, at 2:27 p.m. state police were contacted regarding a drug related incident. Upon arrival, a known 15 year old male, Russell, was found to be in possession of small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia while on Eisenhower Middle High School property. Drug Possession and Paraphernalia charges against the accused will be filed and handled through Warren County Juvenile Probation office.

Youngsville

Motor Vehicle Accident. Youngsville police said on March 28, at approximately 12:31 p.m. a motor vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of State Route 6 and Thatchers Lane in Youngsville when a 2010 Jeep operated by Randall York, 55, Sugar Grove, collided with a 2013 Kia operated by Amanda Baine, 32, Corry. York was attempting to enter State Route 6 while Baine was making a legal left turn off of State Route 6 onto Thatchers Lane when York’s vehicle struck the driver’s door of Baine’s vehicle. Baine and an infant child were transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment minor injuries. York was charged with stop sign violation through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s Office.

Disorderly Conduct. Youngsville police said on March 25, a 15 year old student at Youngsville High School is being cited for disrupting his class. Police said the student flipped over a desk and threatened to punch other students. Charges have been filed through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth.

Assault. Youngsville police said on April 1, at 2:20 p.m. they were requested to a local business store parking lot to assist two female staff members from a treatment facility. According to police, the women were being physically assaulted by a juvenile subject inside a motor vehicle. The subject was restrained and transported to the facility without any further altercation.

Harassment. A parent of a 16 year old female from Sheffield reported to Youngsville Police that her daughter is being harassed in school by another student. Police are still investigating this incident.
