Pamela A. Hartley, 62, of Warren, PA, died Sunday, March 30, 2014, at UPMC Montefiore, after a lengthy illness. Pamela was born December 27, 1951, in Warren, PA, the daughter of Peggy Perry Lobdell, and the late Paul Lobdell.
Pamela was a graduate of Warren High School in 1969; she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from Clarion University in 1973, and worked toward her certificate in School Counseling through Edinboro University. She taught Spanish in both Sheffield and Warren High Schools for twenty eight years.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. Above all else, Pamela’s family was her biggest priority in life. She always looked forward to family vacations, and enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. She also enjoyed her inside and outside plants and flowers, as well as feeding and watching the birds and other wildlife.
In addition to her mother, Pamela is survived by her husband, Kevin Hartley, whom she married on May 31, 1973; two daughters, Amy M. Beers, and husband, Jeff, of Warren, PA, and Kelly L. Foust, and husband, Rick, of Clarion, PA; three sisters, Pat Pasquerette, of Erie, PA, Paula Atwood, of Warren, PA, and Penny Smith, of Clarendon, PA; five grandchildren, Mackenzie, Zachary and Spencer Foust, and Jared and Carly Beers; and several nieces and nephews.
Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Paul Lobdell.
Friends will be received at the Peterson-Blick Funeral Home, Inc.,1003 Penn Ave., E., Warren, PA, on Tuesday, April 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held there on Wednesday, April 2, at 11 a.m., with The Rev. Scott Hauser, pastor, First Presbyterian Church of Clarion, officiating.
