Isenberg D9 all-star

Sheffield’s Jen Isenberg capped off her junior season on the hardwood by being named a Second-Team All-Star on Thursday. Isenberg averaged 18.9 points per game for the Lady Wolverines and is closing in on the 1,000-point mark for her high school career. Sheffield finished the season with a 6-15 overall record.

Keystone junior Madison Johnson took home District 9 Player of the Year honors after averaging 16.9 points per game in the regular season and 24.2 points per game in the playoffs. Dave Kerschbaumer of Karns City was named Coach of the Year for leading his team to a 25-2 record and a District 9 Class AA Championship.

Johnsonburg’s Cameron Grumley and Cole Peterson were named Co-Players of the Year for the second consecutive season and Ridgway’s Tony Allegretto was given Coach of the Year honors on the boys’ side.

All classifications were combined for the all-star teams.
