On The Record
Possession. Warren City Police said they charged a juvenile male with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and a left-turn violation following a traffic stop on March 8.
Harassment. Warren City Police said they charged Stephanie Baum, 20, Warren, with harassment and stalking on March 10 and again on March 11 after she continually harassed her former boyfriend.
Public drunkenness. Warren City Police said Jacob Jordan, 25, Warren, was cited for public drunkenness on March 11 after they received a report of a fight in front of a local establishment.
Harassment. Warren City Police said Samantha Bines, 18, and William Wilcox III, 22, both of Warren, were cited for harassment on March 11 after officers responded to a domestic dispute.
Disorderly conduct. Warren City Police said Brandon Stewart, 21, Warren, was cited for disorderly conduct on March 14 after officers responded to a domestic dispute.
Harassment. Warren City Police said James Seyler, 40, Warren, was cited for harassment on March 16 after officers responded to a domestic dispute.
DUI. Warren City Police said they charged Dylan Winslow, 22, Warren, with DUI, DUI .16 percent or higher, careless driving and a seatbelt violation on March 13 following a traffic stop.
Defiant trespass. Warren City Police said Samantha Stroup, 30, Sugar Grove, was cited for defiant trespass and disorderly conduct on March 11 following an investigation.
Charged. Warren City Police said they charged Cierra Stiteler, 21, Warren, with hindering apprehension/prosecution harbor or conceal, endangering the welfare of children and a red-light violation on March 14 following a traffic stop and the warrant arrest of Dillon Gray, who was charged with violation of a PFA.
DUI. Warren-based state police reported that on March 14 at 10 p.m. on US 6 east of Malibu Lane Randall Scott Sauers, 47, Irvine, was stopped for a traffic violation and was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of the stop. Sauers was subsequently placed under arrest for DUI and transported to Warren General Hospital for chemical testing and then to the Warren state police barracks for processing. Charges against Sauers include two counts of DUI, careless driving, restriction on alcoholic beverages and other summary violations. Charges will be filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office in Youngsville.
Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one-vehicle accident on March 16 at 3 a.m. on Main Ave. north of Pleasant Dr. A 2007 Toyota Tacoma driven by Jason T. Osborne, 38, Warren, was traveling south on Main St. Osborne lost control of the vehicle, which traveled off the west side of the roadway and down a slight embankment. The front of the vehicle then impacted a utility pole. The vehicle came to rest at the point of impact. Police reported that Osborne was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and was charged with DUI. A release from the state police indicates that Osborne was also charged with driving on roadways laned for traffic.
Correction. In an “On The Record” item published in the Mondy edition of the Times Observer, Youngsville Police inadvertently reported that Travis VanHouten had been charged with harassment by communication and indecent exposure. Police clarified on Tuesday that the name of the accused is Thomas VanHouten, 20, Pittsfield.
