Welcome spring with a paint and paper bird collage class
Craft instructor Meg Robeson invites adults, teens and tweens accompanied by an adult to join her and welcome spring with a paint and paper bird collage class on Saturday, March 22, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Each participant will receive an 8×10 canvas which they will paint, add bird pictures and textured items such as feathers, moss and half a small bird nest to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art. This will be a great beginner’s class. The group will also start a second project, a birdhouse constructed from a discarded book.
Stop in the library to view the samples and register for the class. Cost for supplies is $10. A $5 non-refundable deposit is due when registering and the remaining $5 will be due on the day of the class. A pizza lunch will be provided by the library. This class is limited to the first 15 people who register at the main desk in the library. There must be a minimum of six paid registrants for the class to go forward.
