Police called to Follett residence
Follett Run Road was shut down for a brief period of time on Tuesday after a report was received about a mental health incident possibly involving a firearm.
Conewango Township Police Chief Jason Peters told the Times Observer on Wednesday that the department was dispatched on Tuesday at 3:13 p.m. but that “moments after we arrived on scene the situation was defused without incident.”
“Based upon the initial report, our department had requested North Warren and Starbrick VFD fire police block the roadway, had EMS services on standby and asked for additional officers from PSP Warren,” he said. “Officers cleared from the scene once all parties involved were interviewed and there was no finding of criminal acts nor a mental health evluation required.”
