Vivian Jefferson

Mrs. Vivian Mae Jefferson, 85, passed into the next life at 4:30pm, Sunday, March 2, 2014 at her residence in Sheffield following an extended illness.

She was born November 27, 1928 in Clarendon to the late Milton and Lorena Mae Zobrist Wilson.

A lifelong area resident, Vivian was employed in the clerical department at Grabowski’s and enjoyed hunting and traveling in Switzerland and Slovenia.

She had two great loves polka dancing and sitting on the back porch watching the hummingbirds and her grandchildren play.

Vivian is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Roger (Judi) Moore; two granddaughters, Ashley M. Abraham, Sheffield and Lacy G. Abraham, Warren; four greatgrandchildren, Taylor Germonto, Halle McLaughlin, Ava McLaughlin, and Romeo Garay; a sister Elaine Johnson, Jamestown, NY; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Norman Ted Jefferson; a son Brian Jefferson; and two brothers, James and Clarence Wilson.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm, Monday, March 10, 2014 in the Sheffield United Methodist Church with Reverend Ruth Ann Varrato, officiating. Friends will be received in church one hour prior to the service.

Memorial donations may be made to the Sheffield Library.
