College news

Warren Area High School graduate Tyler Fantaskey scored 17 points to help lead the Pitt-Bradford men’s basketball team to a 73-66 AMCC Tournament victory over La Roche. The Panthers will travel to Penn State Behrend on Friday for their semifinal game.

Wrestling: Northwest Region Class AA Tournament, Sharon High School, 5 p.m.

Northwest Region Class AAA Tournament, Altoona High School, 5 p.m.

Swimming: Warren at District 10 Class AAA Championships, Penn State Behrend, 1:30 p.m.

SATURDAY’S SCHEDULE

Wrestling: Northwest Region Class AA Tournament, Sharon High School, 9 a.m. (finals, 5 p.m.)

Northwest Region Class AAA Tournament, Altoona High School, 10 a.m. (finals, 7 p.m.)

Swimming: Warren at District 10 Class AAA Championships, Penn State Behrend, 9:30 a.m.

Warren County Youth Baseball/Softball Association (WCYBSA) registration is online again this year, through March 9, at www.wcybsa.org.
